Dihexa (N-hexanoic-Tyr-Ile-(6) aminohexanoic amide) is a metabolically stable analog of angiotensin IV that binds hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) and stabilizes its interaction with the c-Met receptor. The resulting receptor activation drives MAPK and PI3K/Akt signaling that promotes dendritic spine formation, synaptogenesis, and neuronal survival.
