CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin: why the blend is studied

The CJC-1295 ipamorelin blend pairs two growth hormone secretagogues that act on different receptors: CJC-1295 (without DAC), a GHRH analog, and ipamorelin, a selective ghrelin-receptor agonist. Because GH release can be stimulated through both the GHRH and ghrelin pathways at once, this combination is one of the most-searched research peptide pairings. Supplied here as a single ≥98% purity, HPLC-tested lyophilised vial for laboratory research use only.

Why these two peptides are paired

CJC-1295 without DAC (modified GRF 1-29) is a short-acting GHRH analog that signals the pituitary through the GHRH receptor. Ipamorelin signals through the ghrelin receptor GHS-R1a and was characterised as a selective GH secretagogue that did not markedly raise ACTH or cortisol in animal studies (Raun et al., 1998).

Stimulating both receptors at once lets researchers study the two natural GH-release pathways together, which is why the pairing appears so often in secretagogue research.

CJC-1295 with DAC vs without DAC

With DAC (Drug Affinity Complex), CJC-1295 binds albumin and stays active for days: in healthy adults, a single administration raised GH and IGF-1 for several days while GH continued to be released in pulses (Teichman et al., 2006; Ionescu & Frohman, 2006).

Without DAC the peptide clears much faster, which is the form used in this blend. CJC-1295 with DAC is sold separately for research designs that call for the long-acting form.

Handling in the lab

Store lyophilised vials cold, dry and away from light. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water using sterile technique and keep reconstituted solutions refrigerated. See the reconstitution and storage guides for details.

Frequently asked questions

What is the CJC-1295 ipamorelin blend?

A single research vial combining CJC-1295 without DAC (a GHRH analog) and ipamorelin (a ghrelin-receptor agonist) — two peptides that stimulate GH release through different receptors.

Which form of CJC-1295 is in the blend?

CJC-1295 without DAC (modified GRF 1-29), the short-acting form. CJC-1295 with DAC is sold separately.

Why combine a GHRH analog with a ghrelin mimetic?

They stimulate growth hormone release through two different receptors (GHRH receptor and GHS-R1a), so researchers can study both pathways at once.

Where can I buy the CJC-1295 ipamorelin blend for research?

PeptidesDirect sells the blend in 10mg vials for laboratory research only. Orders placed before 1:00 PM Central on business days ship the same day. See our research peptides guide (/learn/research-peptides) for how to compare suppliers and read test documents.

How should the blend be stored?

Keep lyophilised vials cold, dry and away from light; refrigerate reconstituted solutions. See our research peptides guide (/learn/research-peptides) for how to compare suppliers and read test documents.

Is this product for human use?

No. PeptidesDirect sells this compound for laboratory research only. It is not a drug, food or cosmetic and is not for human or veterinary use. This page summarises published research and is not dosing or medical guidance.
